<p>If students don't place textbook orders early at the Penn bookstore, how long would it take to obtain them?</p>
<p>If I simply walked in and told them which books I needed, would I be able to purchase them on the spot? Or would I have to wait for new shipments? If so, how long would that generally take?</p>

<p>the course book section has all of the books in stock laid out on the shelves by course / course number.</p>
<p>how long it takes to find them all depends on you, but most books are usually available except for certain intro classes (math, physics, etc.) that tend to sell out quickly given the number of students taking the class. new shipments come frequently, no more than a week after move-in usually.</p>
