My buddy applied and got accepted into UCLA as a transfer student studying psychology. he decided to switch after he was admitted into math-econ, but was required to take calc 1 and 2 over summer. UCLA approved BYU's calc 1 and 2 course over summer for him to take (which is independent study).

I'm at NYU and thinking of transferring out, and taking courses at BYU next fall to save cash and speed up the process. Obviously i'm asking a redudant question, but has anyone experienced the BYU transfer process within UC schools and such? Do they typically accept those courses for students who have not been admitted yet?

I went to SMC, transferred to NYU, and currently have a GPA approaching 3.8 -- I'M from cali and am homesick as hell
