I am taking second semester Algebra 2 online through BYU and I was wondering if UCs accept courses taken through BYU.

Has anyone that has taken a course through this program applied/got accepted into a UC?

I called the UC application service and the lady told me to ask BYU and BYU said to ask the UCs....

on the UC general website, it said that they accept or "honor" any classes through an online course if it shows up on my official high school transcript, but I'm still confused! please help and give me advice!

did you give or send your transcript to byu before taking the class, if byu or you contacted or talked to your guidance counselor before taking the class then it should appear in your transcript, if it doesn't appear on the transciprt then you basically never took the class.

My son took his PreCalc at BYU on-line. Later it just appeared on his high school transcript. IMHO, it only matters whether your high school system accepts it or not. Why should it matter to UC?

the UCs only accept courses taken from the a-g requirements and if they are college prep. when you list your courses and grades on their application. and their policy of accepting these online courses is still not very clear so i was just wondering, but if it comes up on my transcript then it should be fine rite? tanks guys!
