Well your SAT is almost on the top quartile of last years class (it was 1460+) and your GPA rocks. Plus, you're a male, so that's a plus. Your ECs are solid, nothing earth shattering, but they show dedication by being a black belt and in two varsity sports. I'd say you're in as long as your both your supplement essay and your regular commonapp essay were solid. Good luck!

PS. I applied too and I'm Persian. Do you speak Farsi?

You should get in. Its the out of state thing that might hurt you.

I think you are in

it's tough to have a resume much better than that. you have a great shot.

thanks guys for the input!!
oh and i speak a little, from what i pick up from my grandparents talking. do you??

oh and any chance at merit scholarships?

I don't think really gives much in the way of merit scholarships. There are the Murray Scholars (Murray Scholars Program | Murray Scholars) but I think those might be the only ones. There are Monroe Scholars (James Monroe Scholars Program | Charles Center), but they get money for research, not for school.

Dave, did you seriously put out a chance thread on every college's site you are applying too..? my god... W&M will never let you in cauz that rec. you got from Ms. Cleo is soooo bad. didn't she say you were a pain in the @##?

0h no now i'm really worried!
let's find kathleen.
