C+ in compsci in 9th grade?

Hey everyone, I'm currently a junior who's really interested in Columbia, Brown, Penn, Cornell and Northwestern. I just wanted to know if a C+ for Compter Science as a minor in 9th grade looks pretty badly, and how badly it'll hurt my chances. If it helps I'm taking Comp Sci II (also a minor) this year, and probably going to get a B+. Thanks a lot

some schools don't even look at 9th grade grades (I think princeton is one of them). might want to look at the colleges' websites to find out. I think that the c+ could definitely hurt your chances of admission if it does count. they'll be happy to see improvement though. really, a single slip doesn't completely eliminate you anywhere, if the other parts of your application are outstanding.

im in the same boat man. I received my first and only c in 9th. Painful experience. Anyways im also a junior and planning on applying to cornell, columbia, nyu and such. Don't worry. Lol

I hope colleges look at Freshmen grades, this year I already made 2 B's.
One of them being Comp Sci.

I pulled Physics up to an A this quarter, but not sure about Comp Sci. Probably still around 90-93%.

I had two C+s in AP classes junior year and I still got into NYU.

jasonx what were your stats
