C- in cs61a or retake class? CS major

<p>I am taking cs61a this semester. But I think I am getting c- in this class.
Should I get c- or just retake it?
I know that c- is a gpa of 1.7, right?
But in my major it requires to complete all technical prerequisites with a gpa of 2.0 or above.
Does that mean I need each class to be above 2.0 or just the average of all my technical prerequisites?</p>

<p>You just need the average to be 2.0.</p>

<p>avoid repeating courses. The technical average has to be at least 2.0 (as well as your over all gpa to avoid probation).</p>
