C+ on HS Transcript: Are Top Schools still in my Reach?

Ok so I would say that all in all I'm a A/B student, but I still have a few Cs on my transcript (not to thrilled about that). My Cs are from:

Algebra II Honors 79.1 (1st Semester), 85 B (2nd Semester),
AP Human Geography 78.0 C (1st Semester), 94 A (2nd Semester)
AP Physics (currentley)--probably going to have a C this semester as well :( , but I'm working on bringing up my grade.

I believe the rest of my credentials are at least above average, though.
GPA: 3.25 UW/3.7 W (Yes, I know it is incredibly low. My GPA will probably be my downfall. But if all goes well this Junior Year, I should have a 3.5 UW/4.15 W by the end of Junior Year. And around a 3.6-3.7 by the time I start applying senior year.

Junior Year Transcript: (Based off of my quarter grades, but this is more than likely going to be my Junior Year Grade)
Home Economics: A
Modern Mythology: A
Pre Calculus Honors: A
AP Physics B: C (I hate physics with a passion)
AP US History: Not sure--A or close B, depending on how well I do on Sem. Exam
AP English Language and Comp: A
Art: A

Online Courses (FLVS):
AP Statistics: A
AP Art History: A

SAT: Haven't taken. But I received a 189 on the Sophomore PSAT and have been scoring an average of 2220 on SAT Practice Test. I'm not sure how helpful that is though.

AP Exams: Taken 4 so far. AP Chemistry (5), AP Human Geography, AP World History (3), AP French.

ECs: French Club Officer, Literary Magazine Editor, VP of Poetry Club, and VP of Book Club. Meh.

Work Experience: Worked for Winn Dixie during the summer and early fall.

Community Service: Beta Club Hours, Volunteered at a nursing home.

Awards: None. But I am entering into the Scholastic Writing Awards Competition.

State: Florida

Ethnicity/Gender: Black female

By top schools I don't mean Ivy League, although Columbia would be my dream school, but a tier lower. I have my eyes on Duke, Emory, Wake Forest, Carnegie Mellon, etc.

Average grades.
Bad extra curriculars.
Average PSATs.

Sounds like an average student to me. Aim lower if everything goes as it has been going.

To answer your question, YES.

They would be reaches(WF/BC(Not on your list but a good comparison)/CM comes to mind as a reach for you if all goes well)… You have the great hook of being a URM to consider as well so stats shouldn’t dominate your decision.
