So in the first tri of senior year I got a C+ in ap physics C. How will this affect college chances, and should I drop the class so that it’s seen as a pass rather than a C+ on my transcript.
Courses I’m taking right now:
AP Physics C- C+
AP Chemistry-B
Linear Algebra/Differential Equations-A-
IB History-A-
Honors World LitII- A
Advanced Electrical engineering- A
Engineering Capstone-A
GPA- 3.5 (one of the most challenging schools in the country)
ACT- 32
Lots of ec’s and engineering activities on the side as well
Applied to Johns Hopkins, Northeastern and Rutgers already, planning on applying to Cornell, U rochester, Stevens, NJIT, Lehigh, Rpi, Penn state honors college, and Georgia Tech.
Would like to go in undeclared for engineering.
Thanks.
I would say to just stick to the course. Find a tutor, go online to find tutorials, and try your best. Senior year grades don’t hold a tremendous amount of weight. That being said, if your grades are still in the C range early second quarter, you might want to have a talk with your guidance counselor.
Good Luck!
Chance me back please if you could! Thanks! : http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1833262-nyu-stern-class-of-2020-early-decision-chances.html#latest
