Does anyone know if there is cable tv service at LU, and, if so...

where are the feeds? At the student center? In the Dorms' common areas? In the dorm rooms? Is there an extra fee for this or is it at part of tuition?

2nd question:

How are the meatless options at LU's food service? Extensive? Middling? Not very extensive?

I ate at Downer commons and other eateries on campus for two weeks this past spring when no other parents were around, no shows so to speak. I was so impressed that I could follow my strict diet and eat on campus. When negative thoughts are spoken about campus food I can only understand it through the lens of "it's the same old stuff." But throughout the week there was a wide variety of items in the salad bars and in the various lines and lots of fresh fruit. I am not a vegetarian per se but I believe there were marked vegetarian items. There definitely were always nicely cooked veggies.

I'm gluten intolerant (I can't eat wheat, barley, malt or rye) and Downer does an amazing job of accommodating me. A lot of the gluten-free items are also vegetarian, so they always have at least several dishes per meal that you can have--probably more than that, since you can have bread and noodles. :P The food is pretty good. Lucy's also has vegetarian options.

The common areas of the dorms have cable TV. The rooms don't. There's no extra fee. There aren't any extras on the cable, either--no Showtime. ):

thanks for the replies. We do not have cable, and we think , 'great, no cable'; we were simply wondering about what is there. We were thinking of adding a tv tuner to the laptop and this question came up.
