I know it is a bit too bad but i have a reason as my grandmother had passed away …
and my sisters wedding was also a big distraction </p>

<p>Yes, you’re screwed bad. A wedding is certainly not a reason for an E average, and I don’t think colleges will brush over that because of a death in the family.
Disregarding that, your C averages still aren’t going to cut it.</p>

<p>there was a cancer survivor here on this forum that was dealing with treatment during her hs career and she managed a 3.5</p>

<p>3) I need solutions ppl . i am dead screwed and i regret it , But i would like to inform u ppl that the Indian syllabus is one of the most rigorous in the world </p>

<p>India sends many highly qualified applicants to the US. You should read the Indian thread on the international board to see what it takes for them to get in, especially if they need financial aid.</p>

<p>Neither your scores or GPA are in range for highly selective American schools. Schools where you might have a chance like Purdue and VT will probably not give you aid.</p>

<p>Have a strong backup at home.</p>

<p>You listed some very hard to get into colleges, so I’m assuming that you’re grade percents aren’t really comparable to ours, and I don’t really know how they compare. I can tell you Michigan Tech is very easy to get into.</p>

<p>The latter part of that list is a reach. You should get in some of those, though, like Mich Tech. By all means still apply.</p>
