Where do you want to be chanced for? You have some great sat scores and ec for some top schools but your gpa is alittle low it seems to me for top schools. Your very lucky to be that high in your class with that gpa, at my school you barely break into the top 20 with. 96 average.

Dude I am an Indian student… 94% is like one of the best in my city…
Chance for:-

Cornell
Princeton
Brown
Upenn
Caltech
Georgia tech
CMU
MIT

I got in Umich EA

I feel like a 94 is still low forthe ivies you listed and MIT, I don’t know much about the other schools. The fact that your indian will probably help but still. Then again I’m not an admission officer :)

Cornell - low reach (i think you have a good shot, high SATs and good EC’s and honors)
Princeton- reach (as it is for anyone)
Brown - low/mid reach (it’s ivy so it’s a reach but you have a fair chance)
Upenn - low/mid reach
Caltech - low/mid reach
Georgia tech - high match
CMU - match
MIT - low reach

Cornell- High Match
Princeton- reach
Brown- Low Reach
Upenn- Low Reach
Caltech- reach
Georgia tech- Match
CMU- Match
MIT- Reach

Chance back http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1055573-i-know-its-early-but-chances-junior.html</a></p>

u say that your school rank is 4th and then you say that its the best in your city?
to get into a top school as an international, you need something outstanding…
believe me ;)

One of the best meaning extremely competitive not an average score. BTW 4th rank is top 5% in my school. Outstanding mean what kind of outstanding??

the international pool is very competitive, you have to jump out of the lot…
do research, climb up to a state level or national leadership position etc etc…
it depends on what course you want to take…
I believe, DO WHAT YOU LOVE…!!

btw, i know india well
you’re from which place?

Well i did lead a campaign that was on a national level…my common app short is about it…based on my scores and Ec’s could you predict what college i will accpeted and what ill get rejected by… assume good essays… please don’t chance only give decisions?

Did u really get into Upenn’s M&T program with your stats??

see, your stats can get you anywhere and nowhere…
see any decission thread, you’ll see even 2400s rejected and 2050s accepted…
for me, essays are everything…!!

these are all reach schools for someone with perfect grades, but i definitely think you’ll get accepted into one of these schools. its a crap shoot with because of their acceptance rates, but your gpa isnt as low as others are saying and your sat scores are in target range. the only problem is it seems like you’re not really passionate about your ecs from an outsiders perspective. please chance back!http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1064996-please-chance-will-100-chance-back-quickly.html</a></p>

I’d say you’ll get into most of them. You have a lot of ec’s and it sounds like your very academically gifted! A lot of these schools are reach schools for everyone but I’m sure you’ll do well!

Your academic stats are great, your awards are great and your ECs are great. However, I’m guessing you’re applying for fin. aid? WIth that in mind (considering how much aid schools give):

Cornell - mid/high reach
Princeton - mid reach
Brown - high high reach (have heard they almost don’t give aid at all)
Upenn - mid/high reach (tough on aid…)
Caltech - idk
Georgia tech - dik
CMU - low reach
MIT - mid/high reach

Please chance back! http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1062868-chance-swede-wharton-harvard-yale-etc.html</a></p>

Cornell - mid reach
Princeton - high reach
Brown - high reach
Upenn - mid reach
Caltech - high match
Georgia tech - in
CMU - match
MIT - high reach

Top 1%- wow…

I’d say likely in everywhere but Princeton, Brown, and MIT because these schools are competitive and unpredictable. But you have a really good shot.
