<p>Very informal thing, but you ought to go for two reasons:</p>
<p>1) Get your Alumni Association membership card which confers you 20% discounts on clothing/general books at the Cal Student Store.</p>
<p>2) Free food. They always run out, so don't be late.</p>
<p>Definitely not tuxedo-worthy. A dress shirt with a tie and khakis will be perfectly fine.</p>
