Don’t underestimate Cal Day. It’s a very big deal for the school.
Almost every single person at Berkeley is going to be doing something, for some organization, tomorrow.
Stuff that is never open to the public or anyone but a small subgroup is going to be open.
It’s basically the epitome of Berkeley. A whole lot of resources, which aren’t really advertised.
Anyways, have fun whoever’s going! Pet the instruments, hold the walkingsticks, listen to Overtones acapella, and see the physics machine shop! Hopefully they’ll give away free trees like they did last year. I planted mine in a Jamba Juice cup.
Also, dining halls have 5$ brunch. And if you eat at Clark Kerr, I will be there from 10 am to 9:30 pm, so come by.
We are here at Cal Day. It’s our first time on campus and very impressive.
So how was Cal Day for everyone? Anyone want to share their thoughts?
I couldn’t make it up there today, needed to finish up on taxes, which unfortunately I didn’t get as far as I thought. Besides, my kid is in his second wave of midterm hell culminating on Wednesday, so it was best to leave him alone anyways…hope everyone had a good time and got their questions answered…
Walked up foothill multiple times. Im assuming people get used to it but when people said hill I didnt expect it to be like that lol
@CH1CK3NMAN haha students get used to it. But unless you are an avid biker I think you can forget about biking lol.
My D and her roommate sent pics of themselves in the back of a squad car. Juniors, amiright?
@ProfessorPlum168 Yeah I’m thinking about getting an electric scooter but im not sure if the motors on those can scale the hill. Definitely not gonna try biking ever that’s for sure
