Even if I didn’t like UCSB?

^
if you didn’t like ucsb you wouldn’t be deciding between the two.

I didn’t like the school, but they’re paying for over half of my total cost and I’d be in the honors program which means closer contact with professors and less competition for research. Also, I have a better chance at doing well in my classes.

oh. oh. you’ll do well as long as you work hard. Hmm… then then… then… toss a coin

Dude i totally did that. And the coin told me to go to UCLA. I somehow ended up here instead. =

I’m not going to base the next four/five years of my life on the outcome of a coin toss, haha. I always pick the opposite anyways. I have a lot of thinking to do these next two weeks.

Just don’t forget to turn in ur SIR. some people forget and end up no where… except maybe UCR <— they extended the SIR date like 5 times !! haha. I remember my last chance was like august… then they stopped sending me emails

lol, talk about desperate.

I’m going to try to send it in a few days before May 1 in case something happens. I’m paranoid, haha. I didn’t apply to UCR so if I miss the deadline it’ll be community college for me.

i sent it in on may 1st. =)
(but i literally didn’t know if I wanted to go to LA or Cal. But err…well. yea… =)

Do you regret your decision? I didn’t get into UCLA but my dad wanted me to go there because it’s so close to home and he went there. But I really want to get out of LA and experience the culture of Northern California.

I’m from socal and would like to try out norcal also.

But as far as I know, engineering at Cal is very difficult, and I’m not sure if I really want to study all the time.

What is the social scene really like? Should I join a frat to forcefully balance out my academic life? On Cal day, we were walking past the frat houses and the students were chilling on sofas in their swimsuits outside on their porches, enjoying the sun, and jumping on the slipe n’ slide. Seemed like fun.

I’m deciding between irvine, ucsd, and ucsb.

I loved Cal Day - the campus and students are great. Stayed from Friday to Sunday in that area (went touring San Francisco on Sunday). I just got home a few minutes ago (Irvine, CA)… that was one heck of a long drive.

Cal Day was amazing… but I think I signed up for too much stuff… o_O

Yeah cal day was cool
