Cal Grant A / UC Gold + Blue: PLS HELP!!!

<p>So last year, the household income was $71,500.
I got Cal grant A, which covered my tuition.</p>

<p>I just got an e-mail saying that I get no cal grants for next year.
It says that the income is "over the ceiling". On the thing for renewal says that income for a 3 person household should be below $71,900, which is below our the $75,000 we earned last year.</p>

<p>I get that, but UC Gold+Blue says that tuition is covered if income is below $80,000.</p>

<p>Is Cal grant A and UC Gold+Blue separate? Is my tuition still covered?</p>

<p>yes, they are separate. You need to log on to the financial aid system for your college and see if it lists grants and/or scholarships up to your tuition amount. They will most likely NOT say anything about blue & gold. If you don’t have them listed, you should
call the school financial aid office and ask. (it may be too early because they have to wait for cal grant notification before they start their part).</p>
