<p>I was awarded Cal Grant A, but after doing a bit of research, I learned that Cal Grant B is better if you have 0 EFC and you're going to attend a UC.
Is this absolutely true?
If so, how I can switch to Cal Grant B?</p>
<p>Cal Grant B is good only when your income stay low forever.
If your income goes from 10K to 33K next year (family of 3), you will loose Cal Grant B.
You can’t switch from B to A after accepting one.
With Cal Grant A your income can go up to 80K.</p>
