I was led to believe by a school counselor at my junior college that the deadline for the Cal Grant GPA verification form was Sept 2, so I decided to wait until the end of the semester in order to have all of my grades for the year in. Not sure why, but at the time, it seemed like a good idea.
As of today, I have not sent it in. Today I was accepted to UCLA, and in my expected financial aid (called "ePAL") they have the Cal Grant listed. I found out today that I was apparently supposed to submit it by Mar 2. Does this mean I won't get the grant? I will contact UCLA's financial aid office tomorrow, because everyone at my junior college is useless.

But here is my understanding: Mar 2 is for high school students. Sept 2 is for Junior College students. However, by "junior college students" do they mean people who will be attending junior college in the upcoming year (not me), or do they mean people who are currently attending junior college (is me)? I'm really worried that I'm going to lose 10k because I was duped into believing that junior college counselors actually knew what they were talking about...
