Did anyone get their cal grant put on hold, until they submitted a copy of their transcripts to the financial aid office?

Mine got placed on hold, and i submitted a copy of my transcripts on thursday.

I was just wondering if anyone has been in this situation and how long did it take to get it confirmed.

I am a transfer by the way.

I attend CSUSB, and my Cal Grant B was also placed on hold. The hold appeared practically the day before disbursemet–how convenient. They wanted copies of my high school transcripts and my parents’ tax returns to establish residency. I was more than a little confused. I am also a transfer student. The college supposedly doesn’t need high school transcripts for transfer students, so why would they need them for the Cal Grant? It’s not like we could’ve attended community college for two years and then transferred with a degree if we didn’t complete high school… let alone being California residents. I don’t get it. Seems like just another roadblock to hurt hard-working college students. I faxed the info in last week; still no change. Sigh. It’ll be fun starting classes with no money.
