<p>I'm in a finaid mess right now. I filled out the form for the GPA verification and gave it to my counselor, who promised to mail it in before the date. However, I keep checking the site and it says they still haven't recieved the form.</p>
<p>Should I resubmit? Can I resubmit? Or am I just kind of screwed for money now?</p>
<p>Did your counselor mail it by 3/2/06? I have a delivery receipt from USPS for March 2 and the website is still not updated. When I called Friday, the recording kind of made it sound like "we are still processing". I emailed today asking them to verify receipt. Don't panic yet. (Unless your counselor did not mail it.)</p>

<p>My son turned in his GPA verification form months ago and the GC assured us that she submitted it. I checked online on 3/1 and the CalGrant people had not received it. We expressed mailed it in and they received it by 3/2.</p>
<p>If I were you, I would download the form and send it in myself (with delivery confirmation or something like that). Sometimes things get lost in the mail.</p>
<p>I know the answer to this one! My son had to mail his, and it isn't showing up, either. I emailed the Calgrants people, and they said that they are behind in processing mailed GPA statements because so many arrived at the last minute. They "hope" to have them done by March 24, so I would give them to the end of the month.</p>

<p>I hunted down the email -- here's what they said exactly: </p>
<p>"Thank you for contacting the California Student Aid Commission (Commission). Continue checking your status online. Submissions received so close to the deadline were overwhelming. We are currently processing these applications and hope to have completed processing by March 24, 2006."</p>
