In order to claim my cal grant I need to confirm my school of attendance but decisions haven’t come out for me yet. Even so, are we allowed to claim the award with the school currently listed, and change the school later when the official decisions come out? The “confirmation of school of attendance” page has a box affirming that I am not reporting false info, and I don’t want to report any false info either, but the deadline to confirm the grant is coming up and I’m not sure what to do since the deadline is close to when decisions actually come out…
If you received the email from the CASC asking you to confirm your school, it should state:
" c. If you are not sure what school you will be attending this Fall 2018, please confirm your award at the school currently listed. You can make a school change later through your WGS account."
Therefore, I don’t think there would be a problem in confirming the school listed as your school of attendance.
I confirmed my school and will just change it if decisions don’t go in my favor.
