Cal Housing App: For those who CAN see it

oh man. im so anxious. i have about 5 sections of integrals waiting for me, but i just cant concentrate!

for those who can see the app, and applied for EOP/got a fee waiver, how come housing makes us pay 20 dollars? i mean, i should be technically getting it for free.

So is this a definite rejection?

It's hard to say wounded bear. A lot of things point to that direction, but we can only be sure tomorrow. Did you test your Cal Net ID number?

I'm really sad right now

did you get A?

I am actually a 19 that just started seeing my housing application yesterday.

I really am.

I just came back from a bible study camp thingy. I realized alot of things at the camp. I realized that getting into Berkeley will not solve all my problems. Not that I found out I am indeed a "b" from Davisengineer I will take that "b" status and I will try to be happy here in Davis. But I have NEVER GOTTEN A B IN COLLEGE 3.98 gpa.

Lucky for you wounded bear, if you can hold up that kind of GPA etc, I highly doubt you will need berkeley to do well in general. If I were you , and should you get rejected, don't assume anything until it actually happens, consider appeals right now. I had posted a ton of info on that in the "official appeals thread- its probably on hte next page of topics in the transfer forum' . take a gander and prepare to react accordingly. Good luck.

thank you niggit, sorry Davisengineer for getting so emotional on your thread. I still hope to meet you even if I do get rejected.

if you can see the housing app, where would it be. is it in myberkeleyapp?

No, it's here: https://services.housing.berkeley.edu/ResHall/LoginSlct.asp.

thanks laneb. i cant see it... so im assuming i have been rejected. oh well i knew that going in... at least im already at a great school. good luck to all of you.

So let's make a conclusion here.

People who can't see the application at all: Rejected (quite likely)
People who don't have updated information on the application: Rejected? (somewhat likely)
People who can see the updated housing application: Accepted (quite likely)
People whose CalNet ID says "Not yet activated": Accepted (quite likely)
People whose CalNet ID says "Does not exist": Rejected? (somewhat likely)

Again, I'm not sure how mutually exclusive the last two questions are from the rest of them. Good luck everyone!

Judging from the information I would concur laneB, but nothing is in stone so, we can confirm tomorrow.

can see housing app and cal id. i never applied to berkely when in highschool. have a 3.63, 76 units, and am a computer science major. i talked to the rep a lot and had my app flagged, so i think this theory is legit.

Records don't get added to the Directory until a student
has submitted an Intent to Register and paid initial fees.
It isn't going to give you any information about decisions
in advance.

Thanks,
CalNet team
