thank you very much

wilder is full of it.

mine use to say did not exist before (2 days ago when i tried)

^^^^ yea^^^^

hey tennis player, did you try it?

? I'm not full of it, it's not like I was there watching the screen or anything. My friend could well have mistaken the messages, similar as they are. I've got more confidence in his analytic abilities than yours.

As for the error I'M getting, it is the same one I've been getting since I applied.

yea, I am getting not activated too... how about you

hmmm wilderr is either an outlier or full of ****,

either way, the theory stands

same, tennis player.

OMFG i see the housing application AND that website says I havnt activated my ID. WWOWOWOOWOWOWOW

19id has showed "not yet activated" for the last couple of weeks

Im an intercampus transfer with low GPA. I applied in highschool and housing information is not updated. Additionally, my calnet ID does not exist. Im probably rejected, I hope this help you guys. Good luckto all of you.

What are you talking about you retard? I have zero reason to lie to anyone about a message I'm getting, and no motivation to prove it to you if you're going to be so thoroughly unreasonable.

CONGRATULATIONS, you've come up with a theory that says 90% of the board's applicants are admitted.

SORRY TO SAY, 90% of the board's applicants have been instantiated in some new realm of a database. Of those, some will receive a token which allows them to activate their CalnetIDs.

haha, saying a theory still stands when someone, even if its one person, proves it wrong, is BS....theory only stands if it stands for all people.

What I'm trying to explain is that "not yet activated" is a far cry from "will be activated", especially in the world of computer systems.

yes, but "not yet activated" is probably better than "doesn't exist", no?

By your own logic, Wilder, perhaps the system administrator's haven't gotten to you yet. Check again tomorrow. Maybe your CalNet ID will say "not yet activated" then.

Also, I think the really crucial thing here is the CHANGE in status, not so much what it says.

I'm with wilderr cos it's just not probable that 90% of the boards applicants have already been admitted.

ok check this out.
I applied out of high school
my calnet id is 15XXXX42
i was not able to see my housing
-now i can
when i first tried to "test" my id, i forget what it said exactly- but it did not say this..."CalNet ID 15XXXX42 has not yet been activated. To activate your CalNet ID, do the following, after which you must return to your original application URL to start the login process from the beginning: "

WIlder dosent yours say that you dont exist in the CAL NET Directory? That is totally different.. SInce you went to summer school your CAL ID would have been pulled from the directory as soon as you are not "Registered" this is totally different from exist/not exist situation for those that never attended cal before.
