verdet: good observation

Housing and ID things aside, do you expect to get in Bosco?

"CalNet ID 18xxxxxx has not yet been activated."

Wilder is such an idiot. I guess you (Wilder) werent here to see that 90% of people on these boards got into ucla.

i would be pretty full of myself to "expect" to get in. I "hope" i get in.

laneb2005 where do you live?

laneb's asking if your stats are in the range of those that would be typically accepted.

mojojojo69 (great name) this is berkeley not LA

"By your own logic, Wilder, perhaps the system administrator's haven't gotten to you yet. Check again tomorrow."

There is no "own" logic. Logic is logic, or isn't. Tomorrow is Sunday, today is 5 PM Saturday and the chances of anyone seeing any updates to anything between them occupies the domain between 0 and no.

There aren't administrators doing this person by person, manually. That isn't how these things work. If you're seeing the message about "not yet activated", you aren't in. You're a dark room in which there is a newly installed light switch. On Monday some of the lights will be switched on.

Some won't.

90% may have gotten into to UCLA, but of how many were TAP certified? A lot.

yeah good point politrix

i have a 3.8
wrote good essays,
have strong EC's,
worked full time (not sure if this helps but live on my own and am poor)
Live in Berkeley (does that help)
Am applying for Psych major, and it is very impacted at UCB

So, i don't know what to think.

90 percent got into LA in Mojoland. And that is not a good place to be.

chris, thanks, but ucla and berk are slightly similar in terms of ways they handle their application (being now sure that ucla has instilled the "holistic" approach uc berk has had for years)

wilder, shut up. It not in "Mojoland", if you check these boards.

Mojo: future captain of the UCB debate team?

Damn modesty preventing people from saying how they really feel.

I am essentially "pegging" my decision to yours, as I am in the same boat with the housing app/ID. I was hoping you would say "I expect to get in" because I feel like with UCB people are right about 80% the time with how they feel.

Oh, I live in North Carolina.

naw, its too geeky prolly for me lol...

Wilderr, i think that none of us can say this "theory" is absolute or perfect. But i think it is reasonable to acknowledge the "possible" significance of these sequential events. Look at the URSA "theory", that panned out pretty well. I think that there is good reason to speculate, and i think it is narrow minded to refute something because it is not yet proven.

"i think it is narrow minded to refute something because it is not yet proven"

It's called the scientific method, my friend.

theres nothing scientific about anything you have said, Wilderr
