If you have a Y chromosome, you are of the male sex
If you have no Y chromosome, you are of the female sex</p>
<p>Your gender is what you define yourself.
You could be born into the male sex but feel female and hence have a female gender.
You could be born into the female sex but feel male and hence have a male gender.</p>
<p>If you don’t identify with either gender, that is what the box is there for.</p>
