i was looking at my profile on the myUCR account and it said that i was a male?!? (i'm a girl) so i called the undergrad office and they said not to worry about it and that they probably have it on record that i'm a girl....they didn't change my profile so i'm wondering what should i do?

I think you'll be fine. Just call again to tell them that it hasn't changed on your profile to be safe and for your peace of mind.

My myUCR account also has me listed as a male even though I'm a girl. I, too, thought about calling them because I'm a bit worried. I don't want to be mistakenly accepted as a male.

I don't really see a problem with that besides housing :D I'm sure you can resolve this with a phone call!

My son's profile is listed as female, so I'm thinking they reversed them all! He sent UCR an email about it, but as far as I know, they haven't changed it back.

they told me that it must have been either my mistake or their mistake so i'll e-mail them and ask them to change it :)

Oh man, if this weren't a system-wide error, think of the fun that will ensue after dorm assignments come out.

i know, lol, when i told my dad about the gender mistake, he was like "r u up to something?" :)

well if everyone's gender were reversed, the housing/dorming situation would still work out :D

My daughter's gender is male too!
I was going to call on Monday but maybe not now.

i would still call them

as for me; i called 3 times and sent an e-mail and they still haven't changed my gender :(

If a college can't get your gender right, you should not go there.

yep i concur
