<p>I checked the Cal Poly website but could not find any information pertaining to Essays (personal statements) or Teacher/Counselor Letter of Recommendations.</p>
<p>Are these required for Cal Poly?</p>
<p>No essays. There MAY be letters of rec. for certain departments that require supplemental information. Check by major.</p>
<p>I'm applying to Bioengineering - the search results didn't turn up anything regarding Letters of Recs - does that mean there aren't any recs?</p>
<p>there's nothing, unless the department asks you for something. for now, just fill out the application and wait for your results.</p>
