@sadgrl I’m not sure. You may want to call them.
Just called and they said to give them a couple days as they work hard to fix the error denials!
It’s really sad that not only is CPP taking a long time with admissions, they also made a huge mistake. Sorry for all the mini-heart attacks everyone had when they saw the deny status!
well just got rejected from SLO, all I have left is CPP!
I just called admissions and the supervisor said that an applicant must have 60 units by the time they apply. I was confused and questioned the supervisor as I’ve heard that you only need 60 units by the end of the spring semester, which I will have. They then proceeded to tell me that they are working on reevaluating the applicants with the CSU Deny - Lower Division Transfer message and it should be resolved by next week. If you still receive a denial, you can call them. This is frustrating as I believe I have met all the qualifications and honestly,I’m not too sure if CPP is worth it if their administration is going to be like this. Imagine how much worse it will continue to be if I actually get accepted and enroll.
Has anyone had trouble with CPP accepting transcripts? I sent mine in so long ago, the status hasn’t changed, and the due date is coming up fast…
@totesnotMN I sent mine in last Friday I believe, and no change yet. However I did send a transcript (on the same day) from a college I don’t attend anymore in which I only took one class, and they received that one 3 days after I sent it in. I think it just takes longer to verify transcripts with more classes on them? If that makes sense lol.
@SexyAZn7 There’s no way, I don’t believe that. If you look on there website it says it can be completed by Spring prior to enrolling. “Cal Poly Pomona requires all transfers to complete the following BY SPRING PRIOR TO FALL ENROLLMENT or by summer for spring enrollment…”

@romonate That’s what I told them yet I still have the CSU Deny message. Better yet in the explanation it says in the Status Explanation: “You are not CSU eligible because you have not completed 60 semester/90 quarter transferable units by the Spring term prior to Fall enrollment.” I am very confused as I will have 65 units plus 3 more units for an AP Psychology I passed back in high school.
The Status Explanation was updated with that message after I called admissions as well. Before the call, I had no status explanation. It looks like they are contradicting themselves.
@SexyAZn7 My status explanation also changed from blank to what you got.
@SexyAZn7 I’m in the same boat as you, my status explanation said nothing until today and now it says the same thing as you?! I’m so confused
I’m on hold on the phone rn, I’ll lyk what they say, if they give me and useful information
OK SO, they said it’s still an error and it should take up until next Friday. As long as you didn’t get an email saying you were denied and the reason, then it should just be a flaw in their system. So until then… we wait
@romonate wow it’s incredibly frustrating that we have to wait like this. CPP is the only school I have not heard back from yet
Tell me about it -_-
anyone worried as to why our decisions are taking so long?
Has anyone gotten their financial aid award yet? Or knows when they might start showing up?
Yep!! Im stressed!
if I haven’t gotten accepted yet and the transcripts are due Monday, is it safe to infer that I will get rejected?
