Mine still says
“Based on information you supplied on your application, you have met the eligibility requirements for admission to the California State University. However, because our campus is impacted for first-time freshmen and upper division transfer students for the major you applied, your application is still under review and decisions to our campus are based on space availability. You may expect an admission decision no later than the end of May for a Fall term start or early December for a Winter term start.”
Mine has been stuck on “Ready for decision” for a couple of weeks now. I’m a CS major if that helps anyone.
CPP portal says I am "Eligible for Consideration. Does anyone know exactly what that means?
Major: Biotechnology
GPA: 3.05
AA-T/AS-T: Yes
Prerequisites: For Biotech: ENG 1A, 5, and PSYCH 1A are done but NO Bio 1A & 1B.
Denied from SLO waiting for CPP, UCB, UCD, UCI and UCM.
My portal has been on “Application Recived” since I turned in my application on 10/26. I’m an Architecture Major. This is really killing me.
@DotHack I’m at a 3.23. It’s not the highest but I also have my ADT, transfer requirements and Golden Four done
Major: Psychology
Gpa: 3.9
Prerequisites: done
Golden four: done
Accepted: CSULB, CSUF
Denied: SDSU, CPP?
My portal shows that I am not CSU eligible because I am considered a lower division transfer because I have 59 units or less which is not true… has this happened to anyone? What can I do? Cpp is my first choice.
@juju2019 do all of your credits transfer and are you doing an ADT?
Yes they all transfer and I did my ADT
I actually have 65 transferable credits
@mello12 same!!! others have theirs at “ready for decision” but mine still says application received ughhhhh
I called admissions and they were really rude and just told me to appeal. Didn’t even give me a chance to speak. Told them I have enough units and a 3.9 gpa… he said to appeal and that’s it. Everyone is saying it’s a glitch but seems like it’s legit. Atleast in my situation? I’m super mad.
@juju2019 best of luck!! I hope it works out in your favor. students should not stress this much
@Daelecengineer yeah, I’m really confused on CPP’s process on making descions. I’m also a Veteran student. I know that doesn’t make a difference on impacted majors but I read somewhere that we’re considered for priority consideration. So it’s all really confusing to be stuck on “Application Received” ?. I hope we hear back real soon! I also read old threads where other applicants sent their apps late in nov and their status went to “ready for decision” early on, so I have really no idea their process.
@mello12 yesss! and theres only like 6 days left until April 1st sooo they better hurry, hope we get in though!
@juju2019 I called today as well, and I was told the same thing. He also told me that if you applied with 40 something units then you are supposed to get rejected and make an appeal. He had a strong accent so I couldn’t understand. I’ll call again and hope I get someone else to clairfy cause I don’t believe it.
The closer to the April 1st deadline we get the more i worry. from reading previous years forums, people seem to have gotten accepted well into April, but again last time i spoke with CPP admissions they told me April 1st well have our answers.
@ucsdsemajor as one said there is an oral communications class at Miramar. My son goes to CPP and took one of his english classes at miramar last summer they are transferable so you may want to see if you can jump in and take that. Then you can have it done. Just make sure you take the right one that is all.
Does anyone know if CCP mails an admission packet?
Does anyone know if they are still fixing the decision errors they made? Or are they final now?
@sadgrl apparently there were no errors made. If you were denied then appeal. That’s what they told me… I am going to be sure to appeal because by the end of the spring I will have enough units so all of this seems so unfair to me
