Who is attending Cal Poly Pomona for Architecture FALL 2014? I was really excited to hear that its rankings have really further solidified it as one of the best 20 architecture schools in the country.

Not attending, but I’ve always heard it was intense. I just graduated from Cal Poly Pomona (I did Applied Mathematics/Statistics, though). Congratulations.

hey did you get in? and if so, what was your GPA?

Interesting to see that students are still going for this major in the US.
I would think with the way things have change most would go for (civil/structural engineering; industrial design etc.

The only 2 Architects that I have know in the last 3 years relocated; one to Dubai, the other to London.

Back to your question, Cal Poly Obispo is probably the among the best for undergraduate degree in the US, but if for graduate degree think of the IVY’s MIT, or even Berkley.
Can not say the same for Pomona.

In general, for a special major like Architecture, and seeing the way the job outlook is, if you want to do this, then doing it in one of the Top rank schools is the way to go.
