I am planning on majoring in Computer Science( leaning towards working in the industry) at Cal Poly Pomona or Computer Science and Engineering at UC Davis.
My first thought was that UC Davis is closer to the Silicon Valley and has more connections because of how close it is, but I heard that Cal Poly was a really good school as well for working in the industry.
I have already been accepted into Cal Poly Pomona and am currently waiting on UC Davis. I do not care a whole lot about any of the other factors(distance,ect.).
Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thanks.

UC Davis. Also, when people refer to “Cal Poly” they usually mean Cal Poly San Luis Obisbo, not Cal Poly Pomona. Because Cal Poly SLO has very good CS programs, its what they’re known for and it is indeed “a really good school for working in the industry.”

Any particular reason for UC Davis?
