<p>I’m going to transfer from San Francisco State to Cal Poly Pomona - I’ve already finished all my lower division courses at SFState and so all I need to take are my Upper Division courses at Cal Poly. As a transfer student, will my registration be effected? I’m mainly concerned with my upper division courses i.e. Cell Biology, Genetics. I need to be able to get all my upper division courses registered and not be pushed back a semester because it was too late and all the classes were already taken.</p>

<p>My major is Biology: Microbiology.</p>

<p>I don’t know for sure but I don’t think your registration will be classified as continuing CPP students. I believe new incoming students including transfers will be able to register for classes on your orientation day and you will be able to work out classes with an adviser. I’m sure there are others who are in the same boat as you are. I doubt any of the transfer students who haven’t gone to orientation have gotten to register yet.</p>
