Cal Poly Pomona versus San Diego State University

I'm a food science/nutritional science major looking into these schools (among others) for transfer down the line (since I've only just started at community college 2 quarters ago).

Here's so basic information on me:
Community College: De Anza
Acquired Units: 20 transferable (90 required for transfer)
Cumulative GPA: 4.0

Which one has the better program? Which one is more cost efficient (from both living on and off campus)? What kind of financial aid is available?

There are probably more questions I need answers to, but I don't remember right now.

Can anyone help with what I have so far though?

Over a month and still no response?
Big bummer.

The better cost, location, and overall program for Food and Nutrition Science (medical non-ag) out of those 2 CSU’s is SDSU.

I don’t know about the programs, only about the schools. SDSU is in a fantastic student town, with great school spirit, and great weather. It’s BIG, and acts somewhat like a UC like UCSB. On the downside, off-campus housing by the beach in San Diego will cost more than off-campus housing at Cal Poly Pomona.
