Cal Poly is a really great school and my wife and I (both UCSB grads) think very highly of it and we are excited to have this an option. Other schools applied to include:

UCLA - pending (#1 choice for D… but realize it is a reach)
UCB - pending
UCSB - pending
UCSD - pending
UCSC - pending
UCD - pending
USC - pending
Pepperdine - pending
Cal Lutheran - pending
SDSU - accepted
U of Hawaii - accepted

There is a transfer admissions site - separate from this one, you may want to follow there as they may post at a different time than freshman applicants.@EvaJohnson

The only two ag business people I have seen have both not heard yet. My DS is ag business and there has been no portal update - still undetermined.

so if I don’t get determination for statistic, that means I get rejected right?

Nothing yet for math, doesn’t look good. :frowning:

To all the applicants: It is way too soon to start thinking that you have been rejected because your portal still shows no determination. They have only just started releasing the decisions. Historically, they can take a few weeks to get all the acceptances out there. Please don’t assume anything about your status until you actually see Accepted, Waitlisted, or Denied in your portal.

The way decisions are rolling out seems odd. Very different from previous years where there seemed to be a trend.

From my personal experience from last year, anyone who doesn’t get in when their major is released ends up getting either rejected or waitlisted in March. That’s what happened last year. I’m sorry guys :frowning: I had two friends get off the waitlist though. Still hope.

Every person at my school found out the same day last year, and anyone who didn’t did not end up getting accepted. And we had a variety of majors. So far, this is what seems like is happening right now at my hometown as I speak.

Do they release all the determination of application for one major? Or by name?

Any news on animal Science

Still no say. Bio major
GPA:4.45
SAT:1350
In-state from Bakersfield

@Suburbialife This helped me actually, I didn’t notice a transfer thread. xD Thank you!

Does anyone know what the “cutoff time” is to stop checking my portal lol

The max weighted cal poly gpa is 4.2

accepted!
in-state bio major
33 ACT

The determinations for one major come out at the same time?

This seems very slow to me…kid one was accepted in 2015 and there was a huge rush at the same time. Trickling out one acceptance every half hours seems odd.
