@cs: Until she gets a decision on her portal, she is still in the running. No one other admissions knows if more acceptances are coming but the speculation is that you are not through in sending out acceptances. All she can do is hold on and wait for an answer one way or another. Did her friends apply to the same major? Different majors come out at different times.
A very highost gpa dues not help as much at Cal Poly, they cap at 4.2

4.2 Capped GPA
1420 super scored SAT
around 4500 MCA
I also applied to CS. I have a 4600 MCA with a 34 ACT (35 E, 35 M) and I am in-state but have not received a decision yet… @Bing306

Is it too late to ask cal poly to add an alternate major to my application? I was unaware that they actually admitted people for their second choice.
