My son will be attending Cal POLY SLO, Architecture major. Does anyone have any insight into the Quarter plus program? He is wants to get started, (probably wants away from home, LOL), and has been invited to participate in this pilot program that lows them to take/begin 8 units of academic coursework.</p>

<p>8 units of architecture is a lot of time. Your son will probably being lots of 4 hour labs. Then again, it is one of the best architecture undergraduate programs.</p>
<p>Good luck! If anything, it will be a great preview for him to determine ahead of time if that’s truly what he wants to do!</p>
