Yes! But only cause I’m local (am an older applicant) with a house, spouse etc.

It wasn’t but it’s really really growing on me the more I learn about it. The learn by doing philosophy is just so practical.

I applied to 11 schools and went into it without having a top choice. I felt like if I had my heart set on somewhere there would be more room for disappointment if I didn’t get in lol. So i’m kinda open to everything and just want to see where I get in first. So far I got into csulb and uc riverside but I got a lot left to go! lol

Definitely nice to have option. Only thing I’m wary with at cal poly is diversity. I’ve read about their inclusion issues. I’m Asian.
yeah I applied to seven schools and am just waiting on a decisions from slo. I have no idea what I am going to do.
