which is better for business: cal poly slo or arizona state? i know cal poly might seem like a better school overall but asu was actually ranked #25 in the nation for their business program, which i was accepted to w/ a scholarship and a deans direct thing. i am definately majoring in business and most likely will focus on marketing. which would be better in terms of reputation & overall education?

overall i would recommend arizona state. it's bigger with more options. that said, poly has a smaller and somewhat specialized program that may work better particularly in the areas of information processing, technology, supply chain, operations management.

if you are in california take a look as well at san diego state, cal poly pomona and cal state fullerton. all are on par with what is in tempe at the UGR level and have the AACSB seal of approval.

calpoly is around 300000 times better than arizona state. asu is first and foremost a party school from everyone ive talked to here, and its very easy to get into. cal poly is a significantly better school in every way i can think of. its one of californias premier public schools

arizona state has many well published faculty and a ph.d. program that few other universities, including either cal poly campus, has. the pomona campus only has a joint doctoral program with the university of turin, italy. either cal poly campus is better at the UGR level.
