Cal Poly SLO vs CSUN accounting

I’ve already tried to post these questions on other friends but things went dark and it seems like this is the section to post a questions like this so I will try one last time. I’ve been admitted to both of these schools and both seems like good options so it’s hard to pick and would like some input/opinions from you guys. Yes I’ve already visited both schools. CSUN is my local option which would be convenient and seems like a great program with good resources but I hear it’s a little harder to get into a Big 4 firm even if you are a high achieving student. SLO on the other hand is usually regarded as the superior school and recruitment seems even bigger. The downside is that it seems like I would get a little bored out there and have to stress more about cost of living expenses. Bare in mind I would like to stay in the SoCal area and avoid the Bay area and CSUN’s program would put me on a faster track to having the 150 unit requirement (already have 91 done by the end of this semester).

bump

Sorry that I don’t have an answer for your question, but have you tried Reddit? I find CollegeConfidential to be somewhat meh and hard to find answers for questions regarding this. Like, the threads seem to be outdated. At least with Reddit there are some people currently on it that can give you a heads up of what’s going on now.

EDIT: Sorry that the links are jacked up, but I had to do it to avoid the link being censored anyways. CConfidential doesn’t like direct links. If you’re on a desktop/laptop, it shouldn’t be hard to get rid of the space I added.

@TheLongRun Thanks for trying but none of this is new to me. Honestly at this point as long CSUN can closely match Cal Poly’s financial aid award I think the decision has pretty much been made.
