I’m not sure about the English program but when I inquired about study abroad for the business program I was told that besides the program mentioned on the business school website Cal Poly is a member of [USAC - Your Gateway to the World](http://usac.unr.edu/usac/default.aspx)
and courses can be pre-approved for transfer. Not sure if that would apply for English majors.

SDSU has over 30,000 students. Cal Poly has around 17,000. That’s half the enrollment of SDSU, which means more student-professor interaction and more quality education. The majority of Cal Poly professors are PhD as well. Although the study abroad options might not be as expansive as SDSU, study abroad is a small portion of your entire college experience. I actually had to choose between SDSU and Cal Poly as well and I’m so glad I chose Poly to be honest.

why are you glad you chose cal poly? because of the small class sizes?
