I’m considering taking the calculus, chemistry, or physics workshop which are each one units. I’m wondering if it is worth it though. I mean, there are other free tutoring sessions out there (they spend less time with you though) but I’m not sure how helpful these workshops may be. Once I sign up, I have to go to every meeting twice a week for one and a half hours. What do you think?

My daughter took one of the workshops when she was in a chemistry class her freshman year. I would definitely say it was worth it. She did well in the class and lab. She didn’t take it for physics, but still managed to do fine in that class, too.

It is VERY worth it. Not only do you get homework help but you get access to private tests and you reinforce materials learned in class. I took one for Calc 3 and I hardly had to study because the workshop took care of a lot of it for me.
