Cal poly V. SJSU (Business Administration)

Hello All ,
I’m having a tough time deciding which college to accept due to different pros/cons for each school . For both schools I end up having to pay about $10,000 out of pocket. The only difference is SJSU is offering me $5,000 in work study. However ,would it be easy to get a job in CalPoly? CalPoly does have the potential to be cheaper considering housing is less expensive.

SJSU
Pros

Closer to home
I like urban area life
Lots of things to do
In the Silicon Valley
I want to get my MBA , Lucas Business School

Cons
Acceptance rate is much higher
Not prestigious
Costs about $1,500 more
Commuter school

CALPOLY
Pros

Nice little town
Good connections
Excellent program for business
Heard they do good in LA region & Silicon Valley for internships
School campus life
By the beach

Cons
Farther away from home
Not that many jobs in such a small town
Didn’t receive work study
Might get bored in such a small town

A lot of difficulty goes into these decisions. I’m in the same boat between CSUN and Cal Poly SLO accounting and pretty much all the Pro’s and Con’s are what I feel. Visit the schools if you haven’t and pick the one that feels right. Haven’t ever been to SJSU but it sound pretty good (prestige and acceptance rate is NOT everything).

There are lots of opportunities for students to work on campus at Cal Poly. You have to seek them out, but they’re there.

As a matter of fact, there were booths set up at open house this past weekend for the sole purpose of hiring students for jobs on campus.
