<p>I was suggested that cal poly had fairly decent computer classes but did not realize there are two of them, and have no idea which one is better. Actually, is there even a difference, although I’ve read comments about cal poly SLO but I’m still not sure. Also, I’d be glad to hear of any other colleges or universities with good computer classes. Irvine?</p>
<p>SLO = infinity times better than Pomona, and better than UCI as well for any engineering.</p>
<p>pretty much, if u wanna do engineering and live in CA, i recommend SLO over any school, unless you get into Stanford/MIT/CalTech and can afford it...</p>
<p>at SLO you can get a very highly ranked engineering education, geared towards undergrad, for less than 70k over 4 years, and thats without financial aid scholarships/grants.</p>
<p>Agree with Ohnonomiss, except that Irvine may be better than SLO at computer science since it has an entire school dedicated to CSC.</p>
