Cal Rental Approval before acceptance...mean anything?

^ Need more details, where are you renting from? How long are you looking to rent it for? Staying in-state or going out of state? etc etc etc.

MOS25V10, you're going to get rejected from Berkeley. :D

for someone who "doesn't care" you seem to be baiting him a lot.

MOS23V10
Stats- 3.8 GPA, Psychology major, Pre-reqs not met, tons of ec's, four years in the Army, received the highest non-combat medal in the Army (Soldier's Medal), pretty good essay about growing up poor then tied it into saving someone's life in the Army.

RCHANG
1) 3.4 GPA Applying Under Linguistics/English Emphasis, applied to UCLA,UCB,UCSD,UCI (want to go to UCLA)
2) I'm in TAP (UCLA, UCI) and will complete it, Joined AGS honor society club, Will be IGETC Certified
3) Most pre-reqs fulfilled but personally told by a counselor at UCLA pre reqs do not really matter for non-impacted majors.

RCHANG, you lose!

lol pre-reqs missing from psych = auto rejection from UCLA
and i maintain he will get rejected from Berkeley.

lol

10char

So anyone find out about those car rentals yet?

haha, changusmc.

RCHANG, the pre-reqs weren't offered at my school. I talked to a UCLA rep a few months ago and was told it wasn't a "deal breaker".

So that's how this works? I ask you why you bother coming to a thread you don't like and your answer is, "you're going to get rejected from Berkeley". As if that would crush me. You are very mature my friend. Berkeley would be lucky to have you. haha.

hotelmoscow- I don't care. I was just saying that his comments are annoying. It's like going on a date with a girl, telling your friends that you couldn't stand her, then going on more dates with her. It doesn't make sense. If she eats with her mouth open, stay away.

This whole conversation is funny to me. It is a fun way to kill time until we find out about UCLA/UCB though.

Ektaylor: I believe we may have come up with substantial evidence that as individuals we govern our own lives; freedom of will if you please. Greek heroes were destined to succumb to their own hubris, and it thus ultimately ended their lives. They were unable to question their actions because they were never allowed the choice to do so. On the other hand, this cal rental acceptance theory has offered two possible conclusions; it is either true or it is not. However, we know that we cannot possibly know for certain wich conclusion is correct, being as you said "singly ignorant". The fact the we can question, know the limits, and claim doubt in our beliefs is indicative of a certain free will. In essence we are blind but we know we are blind and that may gives us a choice.

Of course there are a lot of wholes in this theory and it can easily be refuted by stating that all individuals were pre-determined to know their limitations of understanding. Therefore, the extent of that limitations is what guides us in our choices rather than giving us a choice in the first place.

MOS25V10, I agree with you. It's not important if I think whether or not the theory is true. I'm having fun on this thread speculating about all kinds of possibilities, which makes my waiting time go faster. It's interesting to see if anything new comes up everyday...

I don't understand those who find this thread ridiculous. Why do you waste you precious time on this thread, then? Go and share your insights with someone who will appreciate it.

As for those who got email#2, I don't remember if you mentioned it but what schools at UCB did you apply to?

are you sure not completing psych pre req's aren't a deal breaker?
https://www.admissions.ucla.edu/prospect/Adm_tr/lsmajors/psyc-pre.htm
according to that you won't even be considered for the major

RCHANG if the classes are not offered at your school you are not required to have them. This is for every major. That is why they say "Students are classified as pre-psychology until they complete the preparation courses." If every transfer had all prereqs completed there would be no such thing as "pre-psychology"

BAM! haha.

Next!

Well said UCB/NYU.

Reading skills fail. I laugh at the time RCHANG spends on researching things irrelevant to his interests/major just so that he could use it as a rebuttal, and he still gets owned.

I applied as a Computer Science (B.A.) major in the College of Letters and Science.

haha changusmc. Well played.

RCHANG, one is not admitted into the psychology major at UCLA, one is admitted as a pre-psych major. If you look at this page UCLA Psychology , you will see that Psych 100A and 100B are also requirements for declaring the psych major, but are not part of the ASSIST articulation report since they need to be taken at UCLA.

cuz my account has been approved

is email #2 the one that gives u a calnet ID
and tells you to pay a fee of 20 dollars
then it says please make the payment and start searching for your rental

i got email 2 i think
my stats are not phenomenal
