My Elm says passed because I took it. Ept says exempt because I took it via standardized test

@Basco I hope you get into Long Beach :D… Fullerton is one of my “dream schools”. They have like the best business program out of all of the CSU’s.

People in OC may take it for granted because they live there but its actually one of the harder CSU’s to get into along with Long Beach.

Ngarcia, I’m with you on that! I am honestly a little put off by boscos comments about Fullerton not being a good school, and I understand they were angry. But still, Fullerton is a great CSU. DH is the one in the area that isn’t so great. I was told I had absolutely no chance of getting in and I did. I’m absolutely excited that I may be going there. I am still waiting on Long Beach, but am still considering going to Fullerton even if I get in to Long Beach.

Just came back from Cal state Fullerton day. I have made my decision to attend this university for the fall of 2012. Talked to many people in the Business department and a student in the Pi Sigma Epsilon (business fraternity), in which I consider being part of next year. Took a tour of the whole campus and it was really cool! I just need to sign up for New Student Orientation and check out housing since I am going to consider dorming for a year. It was a tough decision but content with the decision ill make. Titans 2016!

AnnabelxLee- I dont put too much blame on him. He/She is angry and just need to vent. I thought his comments were more sarcastic lol

Jovanny- I wanted to go to that but I had so much to get done this weekend and couldnt make the 4 hour trip. I toured the campus last year and I loved it. The people were awesome and I even got offered a job on campus! Was there a lot of people at the event and was it easy to meet people?

Ngarcia, I know they weren’t really all that serious about it and they are just angry. But I tell you those of us that are excited about the possibility of going to Fullerton feel a little insulted LOL. I don’t take thing too seriously most of the time, or at least for too long. And I don’t take bosco’s comments too personally. I’d be pretty upset too if I had gotten screwed around by them.

I’m pretty upset with CSULB right now since I’m STILL waiting on them. :P

^
Dang, really? That’s a long time D:
They sent mine like the end of March/beg of April, forgot lol.

@Annabel- I cant believe they havent sent anything! Have you checked your portal? Sometimes you get a response there way before they send something.

The way it works with Long Beach is they give you a student ID # and you use that to check through a website that generates an e-mail with the status of your application. You can’t access their portal until you are admitted as a student. I check everyday and it’s always the same thing, “we will notify you by May 1 blah blah blah.” I’ve even called them and they just tell me the same thing on the phone. It’s ridiculous. I don’t know anyone from my school who has been accepted or rejected by them yet. And we are as local to CSULB as it gets (Long Beach City College.) I really love Fullerton for have accepting me so fast

Ngarcia, CSUF is a great school, competitive and has a great business program but SDSU is much harder to get into it, they get nearly twice as much applicants as any csu and their business school is undoubtedly the best CSU business school.

sdsu got 70,000 applicants this year and they are only accepting something like 5 or 6 thousand. People get into UC’s and still get rejected by sdsu. people apply with 3.8 gpa’s and get rejected. So it is hands down the most competitive csu in terms of admission.

SDSU business school is highly regarded. So it csuf. But sdsu beats it out. But the best about both of them, they are located in cities with a lot of corporate ties and companies.

Annabel- I hate when they make you wait that long! But at least you will know in about 2 weeks! I applied to USC and I might not find out until July :/

ndirish345- Good to know :)

Listen up. I didn’t mean of insult anyone. I just was pretty mad that fullerton through out my application. Now it’s the wait game with the other schools I applied to. I just had to vent about fullerton. Like I read that someone posted that they got into Fullerton with a 2.3 gpa and the major is impacted. That’s why I did the mean rant. Fullerton is an accomplishment and I hope everyone gets into all the schools they applied to and if you don’t then try again. It’s never too late to get educated unless it’s from education connection. Do not get connected for the love of god! Good luck everyone and may the odds be in your favor!

-Annie

Who cares anyway 'cause I got into cal state long beach whooo! I never been so proud to be a highschool drop out! I’m glad I never finished highschool

Congrats Basco! :D

Thanks ngarcia3! All my counselors said I wouldn’t get in and I did whoooooo!

Do you get in to long beach annabelxlee?

Did anybody get denied due to stats? I’m thinking that they waitlisted everybody not accepted at this point.

Anybody still waiting?

I’m still waiting; I’m going to give them a call tomorrow.

@roseyourboat what does your portal say? What’s your major?

My portals says “Thank you for applying to Cal State Fullerton.* We have received your application.* No admission decision has been made at this time.* Please click on the ‘View All To Do Items’ hyperlink for more details.”

Major: Business Admin.
