@dgrenas793 wow so you know what. i looked at my application status and it said “withdrawn…” and i was like wth does that mean. it isnt even denied, it’s withdrawn. so i called the school today and they said that my official transcript only had up to May 2014…when I been in school since 2012. which basically makes no sense at all. when i asked my community college about it they showed me the offical transcripts they sent them and all my grades were there up until december 2015! so CSUF was like lying or something. but im so over that school anyways. terrible they CSUF lied to me like that though.
I called them and they reconsidered my application and I’m in!!!

I’m on the waitlist, is anyone else on it? If so, do you guys know if its a guarantee admission?
@Joekangeroo: Waitlist means waitlist, no guaranteed admission. You need to SIR to another school until you hear if you are accepted off the waitlist, then you can decide to keep your admission with the first school or withdraw and accept CSUF.
In case anyone still hasn’t heard anything as I currently still haven’t yet. I called admissions today and the lady said they are actually still in the process of sending out admission and it wouldn’t be surprising to not get an update till about mid-May. Overall, pretty ridiculous considering the SIR deadline is June 1st.
@mosbi15 Don’t worry, I went through all the stages for CSUF. I got didn’t here back until 2 weeks ago, I had gotten rejected for first time freshman 2016, then I got accepted on the 28th and now I’ve submitted my SIR. I’m sure you’ll hear back soon! Also I think the SIR is May 1st for freshman at least, I don’t know if you’re a transfer or not.

Yesterday, I sent in my transcripts electronically, which include winter grades and I was accepted today. Good luck to everyone still waiting!
I got in today, after sending in an appeal (my units had gotten miscounted so I had to show that I did have 60). I’m a comm major, 3.3 GPA.

@mylax3 when I checked my application status in the portal, there was a comments section. In that section they told me why I was denied. You can also call admissions directly and they will tell you. I’m a transfer communications major (w/ public relations emphasis), 3.3 GPA, I have my AD-T in Comm. Studies, and I’m in-state but not local.
