Cal State Northridge Chances?

Hi, I am a senior at a high school in TN. I have a 3.174 unweighted GPA and a 3.4 CSU weighted, I scored a 24 on the Act. What are my chances of getting into either the Psychology or criminology dept at Northridge? Thanks!!!

Also, I am retaking the Act two more times and trying for a superscore of 26.

are you in or out of state? I’m pretty sure for Cal State schools, they tend to forgive in state residents. I believe they only require them to have a 3.0 minimum gpa and for everyone else a 3.2? I could be wrong, but I’m almost sure.

I live out of state. I am also applying to SDSU and CSULA.

I still believe that you should be good to go for northridge. If u get rejected, it’s probably because you barely made it considering northridge is hot commodity for in staters and they would probably favor taking in staters. Sdsu on the other hand is significantly more difficult and it might be a long shot but if you get a better sat score, who knows.
Cheers

Update: I re-calculated my CSU GPA and it is 3.5.

Assuming you have taken all the a-g courses, as an OOS applicant Northridge could go either way. SDSU is really unlikely. CSULA is highly likely but, as with all CSUs, is tough to justify the OOS tuition.

How about LMU or USD?

Thanks for the info. I am sorry but which schools are LMU and USD lol?

LMU= Loyola Marymount University (Private Jesuit University near Los Angeles)
USD= University of San Diego (Private Catholic University in San Diego)

I am just applying to SDSU since it was my dream. I will either attend Knoxville, New Mexico, or FIU in Miami
