So I’ve been doing some research and I’ve been wondering as to why some Cal States have as little 7,000 students and some have up to 25,000. Does this mean that the schools with the bigger populations are cconsidered “better”?
The student enrollment population differences depend upon the capacity of the campuses including the # of staff, available housing, location, the # and types of Undergrad and Graduate programs etc… Bigger is not necessarily better.
Cal State Maritime has a small student population with 7 specialized majors vs. a school like San Diego State which has 160 Undergrad majors with a much larger student population.
Okay, thank you!
