Cal states

So from what I know cal states only look at grades and scores well my gap is like a 3.2 and I’m taking my sats and acts soon if i do good on the two tests could i get into Cal state La

Cal State LA’s average unweighted GPA was 3.2 for Freshman last year. Average SAT (total) about 1300 with Math + CR around 900. Average ACT composite was 17. If you meet these averages, you should be fine for non-impacted majors. For Biology, Child development, Criminal Justice, Nursing and Social work majors, you would need above average states due to impaction.

With a 3.2 and decent test scores you’d be admitted into most programs at most CSUs. You also have to complete the a-g course list with a C or better… Here’s the list

They have a funny way of calculating GPA (read about it here: https://secure.csumentor.edu/planning/high_school/gpa_calculator.asp ) and just look at the Math and Reading portions of your SAT so, calculate your CSU GPA and report back when you have your test scores.
