Cal/UCB College of Chemistry Vs. College of Engineering?

Hello everyone thank you for choosing this question.

I am thinking about going to UC Berkeley next year and I am still in the decision period about majors. I enjoy biology and science in general, AKA chem, physics, computer science, and math.
There are two majors I’m really thinking about: Bioengineering and Chemical Biology.
I do hear that the college of chemistry and the college of engineering are extremely hard to get into, but engineering in particular.
So I want to ask you what college is the most competitive and most impacted.

Thank you so much

UCB CoE admits by major, and some majors are more difficult to get into than others. Unfortunately, it is not obvious which are the more difficult ones (other than EECS). Bioengineering probably is one of the more difficult ones. CoC is generally considered more difficult to get admitted to, but it is not obvious how difficulty compares to the various CoE majors.

Changing into CoE or CoC after enrolling may be difficult.

The chemical biology major can be emulated by doing the L&S chemistry major with electives chosen to match the chemical biology curriculum.
