Cal...WHY

Flat out rejected. I just needed to let out my frustration. Don't read if you get annoyed with these kind of posts...

2240 SAT, 4.45 UC GPA
790 MathII, 780 Chem
Female; Chemical Engineering
Spent tons of time on essays

I didn't think I was a shoe-in. UCLA acceptance w/ engineering likely letter gave me some hope. Then Cal crushed my soul then fed it to sharks and set the sharks on fire. _

It wasn't meant to be. I have to keep reminding myself that it wasn't meant to be.

“Female; Chemical Engineering”

that’s the problem. Chemical engineering is so competitive.

I applied to chemical engineering as well and got flat out rejected. Similar stats except a bit lower SAT.

It really stings, I know. Just listen to music or something, it helps. Just know you’re not the only one.

Ah, I didn’t know you were Asian. You must’ve worked so hard in the past four years for college admissions - you have my respect and sympathy. You should know though that colleges aren’t everything! It’s more about individual will than the name of your college when it comes to success. Plus, you got into UCLA, which IMO is better than Berkeley.

^^I am Asian.
And ha ha.

Um, I actually one of my friends who appealed and got in as a chemical engineer.
If you really do want to attend here, I suggest appealing b/c it actually works.
